This website is operated by Third Generation Woodworking, based in Sanford, North Carolina. These terms apply to purchases through our website. Please review these terms and our Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy before ordering.

Products and natural wood variations

We make handcrafted taxidermy pedestals, display bases, and other wood products. Standard designs may be made to order unless the listing specifically identifies an item as ready to ship.

Wood grain, color, and figure vary naturally. Photos show examples unless a listing states that you are purchasing the exact item pictured. Screen settings may also affect how colors appear. These variations do not excuse faulty workmanship or a failure to meet agreed order specifications.

Order specifications

Please confirm dimensions, wood selections, finish, top configuration, and personalization before purchasing. Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and engraving text.

For custom orders, we will confirm the specifications and price before production. Requested changes after approval may affect the price and completion date. We will obtain your agreement before proceeding with changes that add costs.

Prices and payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown at checkout or included in an agreed written quote.

Any deposit and remaining payment requirements for a custom order will be stated in the quote. Website price changes do not change the price of an already accepted order.

If we discover a material pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you before proceeding. You may accept the corrected details or cancel for a refund of amounts paid.

Production and delivery

Production estimates are provided in the product listing or written quote. Production time is separate from shipping transit time. If a delay affects your order, we will contact you with updated information and available options.

Shipping availability and charges depend on the product and destination. Local pickup and delivery must be arranged in advance. Please provide accurate contact and delivery information and notify us promptly if it changes.

Returns, cancellations, and order problems

Our Return and Refund Policy explains our rules for returns, cancellations, damaged items, defects, and incorrect orders.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges, including for standard designs built to order. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the agreed specifications, contact us promptly so we can review and resolve the issue.

Product use

Customers should confirm that a pedestal or base is suitable for the intended mount, including its size, weight, balance, and attachment needs. Unless expressly included in the order, mounting and installation are the customer's responsibility.

Place products on a stable, level surface and use appropriate mounting hardware. Contact us before purchase if you need help confirming suitability for a particular display.

Personal information submitted through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our original logo, photographs, descriptions, and designs belong to Third Generation Woodworking or their respective owners. Please obtain permission before using them commercially.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. Updates do not retroactively change the terms of an already accepted order unless agreed with the customer.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
